2004 Smith Family Reunion
July 23-24 in Boydton, VA. I had a great time and met many relatives that I didn't get to know growing up. THe first day (Friday) there was a fish fry. Then the second day I got to serve the ribs. I learned a cool dance, made a slight improvement and then got to teach it to some coisins. There was lots of electric sliding, cha-cha-cha slides, & Mowtown shuffles. I had a brain lapse on Friday when I lost my phone (my treo!) I tried to call it from my mom's phone bu the reception was so bad I couldn't even place a call. I finally found the phone at the bottom of my back pack. I had a great time with Aunt Mamie. She is the last living one of my grandmother's 13 siblings.

I think we may end up in the Bahamas
Hey, thanks for sharing-
Did your grandma make pecan pie? When we lived in TX and my grandma moved from her house to live w/us, we would pick pecans and she would make pie. (Too bad I don't like nuts- I never ate the pie)
For the beach? Try the Big Island -- Kona side.
